Event Report: Norwich Beyblade X - Episode 2: Electric Boogaloo

Hey Bladers! It’s time for another Event Report! This time we’re going to be looking at the second ranked WBO event put on by the Norfolk Beyblade team. It was another sunny day in the historic city of Norwich and a grand total of 24 Bladers descended upon Athena Games to battle it out for fame, glory and most importantly of all the coveted BX-00 Hells Chain 5-60 HT (Metal Coat: Black)! It was a big day for the Norfolk Beyblade team whose efforts paid off with an amazing event, pulling in Bladers from all over the UK!

Though most of the contenders for this event were new faces eager to make a name for themselves we also saw some Bladers from episode 1 returning to defend their status on the local leaderboard, after a solid 3 hours of blading 24 became 8 as we moved into the tie breaker rounds. New players BeyPyroBlades, Boxheadd and Escarvat as well as returning player HelenaAlice unfortunately lost their tiebreaker rounds leaving us with the top 4 going into the finals.

As we entered the late afternoon, after 68 adrenaline pumping matches we had our final standings with FuzzNL once again coming out on top, second and third place going to Lotoftoast and RatIncident respectively and 4th place going to Satoro Gojo. FuzzNL once again declined to take a prize and instead gave them out to the other 3 finalists with the 2nd place winner, Lotoftoast, taking home the metaphorical gold with a fresh Hells Chain 5-60 HT (Metal Coat: Black) and the other 2 finalists taking home a UX-06 Leon Crest 7-60 GN and a Corocoro Exclusive blade BX-00 Dran Sword (Metal Coat: Blue).

Once again a big thank you goes out to everyone who showed up for this event as well as Fuzz and Chase for putting on another fantastic event that showed us why they’re the rising stars of the UK Beyblade scene! I think I can speak for everyone when I say we can’t wait to see what this dynamic duo cooks up next!
